Terms of Service

1.1 Agreement.

By using the Service, you accept and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all other policies posted on the Site. Creating an account is optional and only required if you wish to track your searches, donations, and selected charity across devices.

1.2 Modifications.

We may modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2.1 Core Functionality.

Search'n Give forwards your search queries to major search engines (Bing, Yahoo) using our affiliate links. We receive a share of the resulting advertising revenue.

2.2 Charitable Donations.

We pool affiliate revenue and donate 100% of net proceeds to charities. You may select a charity or nonprofit to receive donations from your searches, and you may change your chosen charity at any time. Without an account, your charity selection is stored locally in your browser. With an account, your selection is saved across all your devices.

2.3 No Search-Result Guarantee.

We do not guarantee relevancy, completeness, or accuracy of search results, which are provided by third-party search engines.

3.1 Age.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3.2 Compliance.

You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service.

4.1 Optional Registration.

Account registration is optional. You can use our search service without creating an account. However, to track your searches, donations, and selected charity across multiple devices, you must register for an account. When you do register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and to keep your account information up to date.

4.2 Security.

If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for safeguarding your password and any account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5.1 Charity Selection.

From our list of eligible charities, you may designate one nonprofit to receive donations generated from your searches. Without an account, your charity selection is stored locally in your browser and will not sync across devices. With an account, your charity selection is saved and synchronized across all your devices. We reserve the right to modify the list of supported charities at any time.

5.2 Donation Processing.

All donations are made in good faith based on cumulative ad-revenue shares. We aim to process donations quarterly but may adjust the schedule at our discretion.

5.3 No Ownership Rights.

You acknowledge that you have no ownership interest or rights to the affiliate revenue; you merely direct us where to donate proceeds.

6.1 Good-Faith Projections.

All "Raised," "Given," or "Earned" dollar amounts shown in your dashboard are our team's good-faith estimates of affiliate revenue generated. If we do not receive payment from our search-engine partners for any reason (including click-fraud or partner delay), we reserve the right to adjust or modify displayed amounts accordingly.

6.2 Payment Schedule.

We intend to make charitable payments within 120 days after the end of each fiscal quarter. Displayed figures indicate designated funds, not the actual date received by the charity.

6.3 Ownership of Funds.

All affiliate revenue generated through the Service is the sole property of Search'n Give. Users have no legal claim to redeem or withdraw these funds; they may only choose the recipient charity.

6.4 Tax Treatment.

Users may not claim any "raised" or donated amounts for personal tax deductions. Attempting to do so may violate tax laws in your jurisdiction.

7.1 Selection Criteria.

We select charities that:

• Are recognized 501(c)(3) organizations in the U.S. (or equivalent nonprofit status abroad)
• Operate nationally or internationally (geographic scope)
• Maintain accessible, transparent financial statements

We may relax these criteria if a charity is newly established or not yet evaluated.

7.2 Addition & Removal.

We reserve the right to add or remove any charity from our platform at any time, for any reason. If we discontinue support for a charity with undistributed funds, those funds will be evenly redistributed among the remaining charities.

7.3 Charity-Initiated Removal.

Upon receiving a written request from a verifiable representative of a listed charity, we will remove the charity within 14 days and redistribute any undistributed funds as described above.

9.1 Affiliate Disclosure.

Search'n Give participates in affiliate programs. We earn commissions when you click our referral links and perform certain actions (e.g., searches, ad clicks).

9.2 Revenue Transparency.

If you have an account, you may view aggregate revenue earned and donations sent in your dashboard. While we strive for accuracy, figures are approximate and subject to adjustment.

10.1 Our Content.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Search'n Give and its licensors.

10.2 Third-Party Content.

Search results, trademarks, and logos of Microsoft/Bing, Yahoo, and other providers belong to their respective owners. Your use of search results is subject to the third-party's own terms.

11.1 Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices.

11.2 Data Sharing.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share only the necessary information (e.g., anonymized click data) with affiliate partners to track revenue.

12.1 "As-Is" Basis.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

12.2 No Professional Advice.

Search'n Give does not provide professional or legal advice.

15.1 By You.

If you have an account, you may close it at any time via your account settings. You may also stop using the Service at any time without an account.

15.2 By Us.

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for any reason (including violation of these Terms).

17.1 Entire Agreement.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us, constitute the entire agreement with you regarding the Service.

17.2 Waiver & Severability.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
