For users without accounts, search counts are stored locally in your browser.

Device & Usage Data: We may collect device identifiers, browser type/version, operating system, IP address, and timestamps. Cookies & Similar Technologies: We use cookies and local storage to maintain your session, remember your charity preference, and enable offline search-count tracking.

1.3 Usage Without an Account

If you use the Service without creating an account, we store your search count and charity selection locally in your browser's local storage. No personal identifiers (email, IP) are linked to this locally stored data. Your charity selection and search history remain private to your browser and are not transmitted to our servers unless you create an account and choose to sync your data.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Service Delivery

To forward your searches to Yahoo or Bing via affiliate links and track resulting ad revenue.

2.2 Charitable Donations

To tally searches and allocate aggregated revenue to charities. For users with accounts, revenue is allocated to your selected charity. For users without accounts, revenue is allocated to the charity you've selected locally in your browser, or distributed among all supported charities if no selection is made.

2.3 Account Management

To authenticate you, communicate with you, and provide your donation dashboard and history.

2.4 Improvement & Analytics

To analyze usage patterns, troubleshoot issues, and improve our Service.

2.5 Legal Compliance & Safety

To detect, prevent, and address fraudulent or illegal activities, and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Sharing & Disclosure

3.1 Charity Partners

We share your aggregated search counts and affiliate revenue attribution with the charities you select so they can verify donations.

3.2 Affiliate & Analytics Providers

We share anonymized or pseudonymized usage data with our search-engine partners and analytics services to measure performance and revenue.

You may view or update your email or selected charity in your account settings.

7.2 Deletion

You can delete your account at any time; we will purge your personal data within 60 days, except where retention is required by law.

You may disable or clear cookies/local storage via your browser, though this may disrupt offline functionality and login persistence.

7.4 Opt-Out
